“Discoveries From The Ninth Dimension” is a high energy, frenetic concept album from the legendary lyricist Myka 9 and multimedia producer Freematik. In an era of hit singles, this album is designed to take you on a cosmic journey that alternates between order and chaos from beginning to end.

The music style is a unique combination of influences. Myka 9 brings his melodic lyrical skills to the table. For the instrumentals Freematik used a variety of influences, such as his experience producing electronic and industrial music, to a punk aesthetic he developed while playing in bands in the 90’s. The result is a wild ride through a variety of musical dimensions, with all songs connected together in a musical vignette. Myka 9 handles this unique sonic territory perfectly and blends in his classic lyrical styles over the music to create some truly infectious sonic moments.

This is an album that should be listened to from beginning to end, it’s perfect for a road trip, skating, playing video games, or other situation where you can immerse yourself in this sonic universe. Sometimes you come across an artist that is compelled to do what they do. I appreciate the musicality and the arrangement and the artistry of the songs.
